Registration for oral examination in the winter semester 2023/24

In the winter semester 23/24, oral examinations in the module "Exemplary Readings" will take place in the week from 18th to 22nd March, 2024.The examinations are conducted in attendance. Online exams are only possible in well-justified exceptional cases.

Registration procedure

1. Registration via RWTHonline:

The registration period for the exam dates has been running since November 15, 2024 and, as with all other exams, ends one week before the exam date, i.e. on March 11, 2024. The oral examinations will take place via Zoom. For organizational reasons, we urge you to register early.

2. Appointments are organized via RWTHmoodle:

The distribution of the individual examination dates and the submission of the reading lists is done via RWTHmoodle. By choosing your preferred date, you also decide on a pair of examiners, each consisting of one examiner from the ÄDL and one from the NDL. After your registration in RWTHonline you will receive access to a corresponding Moodle learning room. The Moodle learning room will be available from February 20, 2024. The registration data will be synchronized automatically from RWTHonline to RWTHmoodle.

3. Submission of individual reading lists via RWTHmoodle:

Please save the completed form with your personal reading list as well as a pdf document with copies of your selected poems and short texts (meaning fables and short prose, no essays and no narratives!) from the NDL part of the reading list under a file name containing your surname and upload both documents in the RWTHmoodle learning room at least three weeks before the exam date, i.e. by February 26, 2024. Please note that you will not be able to edit the documents after uploading! Please send the completed and signed registration form additionally in paper form to both examiners. If the examiners feel that additions or corrections are necessary, they will contact you directly. In the event of late submission of the reading list, the examiners reserve the right to select the texts to be covered in the examination themselves.

Detailed information on the preparation, requirements and procedure of the oral examinations can be found in the introduction to the Aachen Reading List. For factual questions, the lecturers of the reading colloquia are at your disposal. Please contact (NdL secretary's office) in case of further questions regarding the registration procedure or the Moodle study rooms.
